PowerPoint Metadata Viewer

Read the hidden properties of a PowerPoint file: author, company, revision count, title and timestamps. Decks get forwarded far beyond their original audience, and this shows what travels with them. It is free, needs no account, and adds no watermark to your result.

Questions

Common questions.

What does the revision number tell people?

Roughly how many times the deck was saved. A high count on a "new" proposal can be revealing.

Are speaker notes shown here?

No, notes are slide content rather than metadata. Check them separately in PowerPoint.

How do I clear these fields?

Use Remove PowerPoint Metadata, which clears them while preserving every slide.
