CSV to Excel

Turn a CSV into a real Excel workbook so it opens directly with columns, rows, and encoding already handled. This helps when Excel's import wizard guesses the delimiter or character set wrong. It is free, needs no account, and adds no watermark to your result.

How it works

What happens to your file.

The CSV is parsed with delimiter detection, then written into a native XLSX worksheet. Each parsed field becomes a cell, the header row stays at the top, and the result opens without an import step.

Where it stops: The converter does not invent formulas, styling, or multiple sheets from one flat CSV. Values that look like long IDs are safest left as text so Excel does not round them.

Questions

Common questions.

Is this a renamed CSV?

No. The output is a real XLSX workbook.

Can it handle tabs or semicolons?

Yes. Common delimiters are detected before the workbook is written.

Why not just open the CSV in Excel?

Excel often guesses delimiter, encoding, dates, and long numbers. Converting first gives a cleaner handoff.
