CSV to JSON
Turn CSV rows into JSON objects without losing the header mapping or guessing at delimiters by hand. It is useful when a spreadsheet export needs to become API input, seed data, or a file a developer can inspect. It is free, needs no account, and adds no watermark to your result.

What people use it for.
What happens to your file.
The parser detects the delimiter, reads the header row, and maps each row into an object with those header names as keys. Empty cells stay empty rather than shifting columns, and UTF-8 text is preserved in the JSON output.
Where it stops: CSV has no native types, so dates, booleans and numbers may need checking before you feed the JSON into a strict system. If your CSV has duplicate headers, rename them first or the later value can overwrite the earlier key.
Everything you need, without a paywall.
Common questions.
Does the first row become JSON keys?
Yes. The first row is treated as headers and every following row becomes an object with those keys.
Can I use semicolon-delimited CSV?
Yes. The delimiter is detected, and you can still check the output before downloading.
Why did a value stay as text?
CSV stores everything as text. Keeping values exact is safer than silently changing IDs, dates or leading zeros.
