HEIC to PDF

Turn iPhone HEIC photos into a PDF that opens anywhere. HEIC saves space on the phone but is rejected by many upload forms, email clients and older software; PDF is universally accepted. It is free, needs no account, and adds no watermark to your result.

How it works

What happens to your file.

Each HEIC image is decoded and placed on its own PDF page, fitted proportionally, and multiple images are assembled into one document in upload order. By default each page follows its photo, portrait or landscape; you can also choose a page size and orientation, or a page the exact shape of the photo with no margin. Photos go in as high-quality JPEG, so a set of phone photos makes a PDF of about their own size rather than several times it.

Where it stops: HEIC decoding depends on HEIF support in the server image stack. If a particular file fails, converting it to JPG on your phone first is a reliable workaround.

Questions

Common questions.

Why does my iPhone produce HEIC at all?

It stores photos at roughly half the size of JPEG at similar quality. The trade-off is that support outside Apple devices is still patchy.

Can I combine several photos into one PDF?

Yes. Upload them together and they become consecutive pages in upload order.

Will the photos lose quality?

Photos keep their full resolution and go in as high-quality JPEG, which keeps the PDF close to the size of the photos themselves; a picture with transparency is kept as PNG.

Can the page match the photo, with no white border?

Yes. Choose Page size: original, and each page takes the shape of its photo with no margin.
