How it works

What happens to your file.

Each image is placed on its own page at the size and orientation you choose, and the pages are assembled in the order shown on screen rather than the order the files happened to be named in. Fit keeps the whole photo visible inside the page and leaves white space where the shapes do not match; fill crops to the page edge instead. The images are embedded at their original resolution rather than re-rendered, so a photo that was sharp going in is sharp in the PDF.

Where it stops: Embedding at full resolution means a PDF built from modern phone photos can be large; compress it afterwards if you have a size limit to meet. An image whose shape is very different from the page will either letterbox with white space or lose its edges to the crop, depending on which mode you pick.

Questions

Common questions.

How do I convert JPG to PDF for free?

Add your images, drag them into the order you want, choose a page size, and save. No account and no watermark on the result.

Can I put several photos into one PDF?

Yes. Add them all at once and each becomes a page, in whatever order you arrange them before saving.

Will the photos lose quality?

No. Each image is embedded at its original resolution rather than being re-rendered, so the picture in the PDF matches the file you started with.

Why is my PDF so large?

Because the photos went in at full resolution. Run the result through Compress PDF if you need it smaller for email.
