What happens to your file.
The URL is parsed with standard URL rules, then query parameters are listed separately and decoded for reading. The original string stays available so you can compare encoded and decoded values. An address copied without https://, as browsers show it, is read as https. A parameter that appears twice keeps both values, tracking parameters such as utm_source, fbclid and gclid are listed with a clean copy of the address without them, a password in the address is never shown, and several addresses, one per line, are parsed at once.
Where it stops: Parsing a URL does not visit it and does not prove the destination is safe. Treat unknown links carefully even when the components look valid.

Common questions.
Does it open the URL?
No. It only parses the text you paste.
Can it decode query parameters?
Yes. Encoded values are shown in decoded form while preserving the original URL.
Why does parsing fail?
The text contains spaces or characters no address can hold, or is not an address at all. A missing https:// is not a problem: it is assumed.
Can it remove tracking parameters?
Yes. utm_source, fbclid, gclid and similar parameters are listed, and the result includes the same address without them, ready to share.
