Are the tiles the same quality as the original?

Yes. Each tile is cut at full resolution from the source; nothing is scaled down.

What if my image does not divide evenly?

Tiles are computed from the dimensions, so edge tiles can differ by a pixel or two. Crop to a divisible size first if you need exact uniformity.

In what order are the tiles named?

Left to right, top to bottom, so they reassemble in reading order.
